The EPIPEN Auto-Injectors
EPIPEN 0.3 mg, EPIPEN JR 0.15 mg, and their authorized generics are self-injectable devices (auto-injectors) that contain epinephrine.
How It Works
An EPIPEN quickly injects epinephrine to stop a severe allergic reaction by opening the airways, raising blood pressure, and reducing swelling.
When to Use EPIPEN
- Use EPIPEN immediately as prescribed if you or someone you are caring for shows signs or symptoms of anaphylaxis and seek emergency medical care
- A delay in using EPIPEN can be life-threatening
- Epinephrine is the first-line treatment for life-threatening allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) per national food allergy guidelines
